Tile tip Tuesday!
How to get perfectly plumb and flat walls
This works really good with go board if you shim every 3 feet or less, and it works with kerdi board if you do every 2 feet because it's not as rigid as go board.
This saves a lot of time versus marking every 6-8 inches and using a lot less shims!
And don't forget, you still need to screw them in the next day after the thinset dries!

We got right to work after the electricians got some lights on...
Installed a header over our niche
Installed some of our go board
Built bench and curb out of 2 inch kerdi board
And most importantly we got our mud floor and drain installed so that we can get that shower floor in tomorrow 💪

How much do you want to make per hour? If you can duplicate my work, I want to pay you well!

Fresh mud floor in troup
We've got some pretty black pebbles that appear to have sheets that actually fit together. I still don't trust them. 🤔
Tile tip Tuesday:
Mark your pvc for your drain. Simple and effective!
(Yes there is a p trap to the left)

Quick update on this pan repair. We got the shower floor tile installed. First row will go back on tomorrow and then Tuesday we'll wrap this bad boy up with some silicone and grout
