Maddie had the sweetest show-and-tell today—and she brought her best buddy Benji! Jarrod took our diabetic alert dog to her class so the kids could learn what it’s like to live with Type 1 Diabetes. They asked thoughtful questions, got to pet Benji, and even heard about the book 📕 my mom wrote to help other families understand this journey. My heart is so full watching Maddie advocate for herself and others at just 7 years old. Proud doesn’t even begin to coverit!!
