Designing Women

Posting our designer bios this week!
Kicking it off with owner and president, Sandy Bennett.

Owner and Lead Designer, Sandy Bennett, purchased Designing Women in 2016 and has continued its long tradition of quality and creativity. A Baylor University graduate with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Art History, Sandy’s passion for design began early in her career through an internship with The Bryan Design Associates, a renowned high-end design firm. She continued there before joining Pearson English Architectural Design in Houston, where she worked extensively on space planning, design selections, and computer drafting for high-rise commercial projects.

Her experience in both design and architectural environments provided a strong foundation for her later roles as a representative for Design Brokers and Anderson Floor Covering, further deepening her expertise in flooring and materials. Eventually, Sandy returned to her hometown of Tyler to raise her family and bring her design experience back to the community she loves.

Designing Women was recognized in Tyler Today magazine for a new build contracted through Redd Construction 🎉
