Summer is busy at St. Vinny's!
We need your help.
We are happy to take clean, gently used, and new items. When you donate or shop with us, the money stays right here in our community to help people who are having a hard time.
In May, St. Vinny's helped with:
$3,000 for rent
$2,000 for utility bills
More than $10,000 for food
We also helped with things like medicine, bus passes, and other emergency needs.
We cannot pay all of a family's bills, but we can help when times are tough .
When you donate, shop, or volunteer at St. Vinny's, you are helping your neighbors.
Thank you for helping us help others. ❤️

Last night the Two Rivers St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store held its annual Volunteer Appreciation Night.

What many people may not realize is that this small store is entirely volunteer run and operated. No one is paid. Every donated item sorted, rack stocked, piece of furniture moved, repair made, every delivery completed, every recycled item handled, and much of the building maintenance itself is done by volunteers.
And the result of all that work?
Last year alone, more than $164,000 was returned directly back into the Two Rivers community in the form of assistance for your neighbors in need.
That assistance included:
Shelter and housing help
Utility assistance
Food assistance
Furniture and household items
Transportation help including city and school bus vouchers
Emergency and miscellaneous needs as they arose
Behind every donation dropped off and every purchase made is a group of people quietly working to help others.
These volunteers sort mountains of donations, pick up and deliver furniture, repair usable items, recycle what cannot responsibly be sold, and keep the operation moving day after day.
This organization gives far more to Two Rivers than many people realize.
It is neighbors helping neighbors !!
And in our world today seeing people giving time that truly makes a difference is a really community service.
