Fresh salmon on the grill this morning.. it doesn't get much better than that! 🎣

Our guests reeled these in this morning and fired up our complimentary grill to smoke their fresh catch at the motel.

And here's the fun part... last weekend another group of fishermen used this same grill for every single meal during their stay!
Seeing our guests kick back, share stories, and make the most of the amenities we've added is one of our favorite parts of this journey!

We're feeling incredibly grateful today.

We're expanding our Local Guide wall!

As we've welcomed more guests through our doors, we've had many ask for recommendations on places to eat, local attractions, shopping, fishing charters, and things to do while they're in the area. We want to make it easy for them to discover all that Two Rivers and the surrounding communities have to offer.

If you own or represent a local restaurant, shop, attraction, fishing charter, tour, event, or other local business, we'd love to display your brochures in our lobby for guests to explore.

Supporting local businesses helps create a memorable experience for everyone who visits our community. Feel free to stop by during office hours with brochures, we'd be happy to add them to our Local Guide wall!

Another delivery truck pulled up today, this time bringing our new keyless door locks!
There truly is something new and exciting happening at Cool City Motel almost every single day, and seeing these deliveries arrive reminds us just how far we've come - and how close we're getting to sharing it all with you.

Stay tuned, the transformation is happening one delivery at a time. 💙

Today we made the trip down to one of our favorite stores, Floor & Decor in Brookfield, to pick up the bathroom tile and all of the rooms flooring for our first renovated room!

We couldn't be more excited to see everything finally starting to come together.

While we were there, we snapped a few pictures of some tile options...

At Cool City Motel, we offer complimentary fish freezing for all of our registered guests!
Whether you're heading back home after a successful day on the water or staying a few more nights, we'll help keep your catch fresh until it's time to leave.

This past weekend, our fishermen completely filled the freezer- and we have to admit, it was pretty special seeing it packed with everyone's catches. It's just one more reminder of why we love being part of the fishing community here in Two Rivers

Our brand-new exterior doors are going in! 🙌

With each new door comes another exciting step forward. Our new key card system and door handles are currently in production and should be arriving shortly. Once the doors are installed, we'll also be adding our new exterior light fixtures to each room to complete the fresh new look.

🐾❤️ A Little Miracle at Cool City Motel

Today reminded us just how amazing a community can be.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our team for hearing a tiny kitten in distress and immediately taking action by contacting the proper authorities. What could have been a heartbreaking situation turned into one filled with compassion, teamwork, and hope.

A huge thank you also goes out to our incredible guest who didn't hesitate to jump in and help, as well as the officers from Two Rivers Police Department for their quick response and willingness to help rescue this little one.

The kitten was safely rescued, but it was clear they had been struggling and were suffering from a significant eye infection. We are keeping this sweet baby in our thoughts and prayers and hoping they receive the care, comfort, and healing they deserve.
