Don't let them gaslight you that she didn't say it

On this day, 250 years ago, a group of men defied the most powerful empire in the world, knowing the cost to themselves could be everything. With a trust in God and each other, they made this pledge at the end of the Declaration of Independence:

"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."

May we join with them in this pledge, willingly laying our all on the line to preserve freedom for our posterity.

It is July 3, 1776.

Yesterday, the Continental Congress voted for Independence.

Today, they are spending the day debating and amending the draft of the Declaration written by the Committee of 5: Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman, and Robert R. Livingston.

Tomorrow, they will approve a final draft of one of the most important documents in human history, when they will declare to the world that rights are not a gift from a king, but an inalienable blessing endowed by our Creator

It was inspiring to visit Independence Hall earlier this year, and see where these great men made history.

Tomorrow is the big day, America.

So disappointing to hear my Dem opponent being so dishonorable as to say that I supported a tax break for data centers when I'm actually the only WI legislator who took a vote on the record to oppose that policy.
