This is my dad Big John. When he came back from Vietnam, he found comfort in the companionship of his biker brothers. He never talked to me much about those days or his time in Vietnam.

He was a master mechanic and chopped bikes. I wish I had more photos of him. He was my hero.
As a teen and young adult I rebelled and wanted nothing to do with motorcycles or the life.
I never rode with him.
I didn’t get a bike until a few years ago. Now all I want is to ride with him, but it is too late. When I ride I can hear his voice and feel his presence.
