Will you stand with us? California attorneys: it's time to mobilize. On October 3, 2025, Uber filed a deceptive attorney fee initiative ("Protecting Automobile Accident Victims from Attorney Self-Dealing Act") with a goal to limit access to justice for consumers involved in motor vehicle collisions across the State of California. If the initiative gets enough signatures – it will go for vote on the November 2026 California ballot. As written, the measure aims to amend the California Constitution; it's a direct attack on consumer rights.
