Happy Friday! We’ve been buried in weddings all month, but I wanted to share a fun project we recently did for . I taught my very first virtual class for their employee event and it was SOO much fun! We made these 4 cards just in time for Mother’s Day and I can’t wait to gift them to my mom as well 🥰. Handmade cards are the best! Looking forward to teaching more of these workshops in person!

Happy Valentine’s Day! 💝 Loving all of the romantic vibes today, especially this beautiful invitation delicately printed on handmade paper. I get lots of requests for handmade paper, and the truth is, creating a piece like this is a work of art! The paper alone can take up to 4-6 weeks just to get made, let alone the time it takes us to print the artwork. I recommend starting the process of ordering these with us at LEAST 3 months before you need to mail them, which is usually about 5-6 months before your wedding date! It’s a labor of love, but I guarantee that these are keepsake-worthy. 😍

☁️ Why handmade paper?
- It’s eco-friendly and made from recycled cotton fibers
- It’s super soft and works beautiful for letterpress and foil stamping
- While we have hand-torn cotton paper to achieve a similar look, real handmade paper produces a natural deckle that cannot be replicated
- No machine-made paper can compare to the texture and character of handmade paper

✋🏼 Cons:
- Really difficult to print digitally, so letterpress and/or foil stamping is the way to go for consistent results
- Cost. It’s going to cost more than regular machine-made paper.
- Turnaround. We aren’t able to rush these.
