THE WHEEL WASN'T JUST A WHEEL

Y'all, come sit down for a second. I have been studying Ezekiel's wheels for years now, turning them over, praying over them, sitting with the original language, and I finally have to let some of this out. Because what I am about to show you is going to change the way you read that first chapter forever.

Here is the short version before I unpack it. Ezekiel was not just seeing angels and fire in the sky. I believe the prophet was staring straight into the structure of an atom. Electrons. Orbitals. The same physics your child is learning in school right now, thousands of years early. Let me put you up on it.
It Started With A Storm...

Picture the scene. Ezekiel is standing there and the sky tears open. A whirlwind comes screaming out of the north. A cloud rolls in so thick it swallows the light whole. Fire folds in on itself like it has a mind of its own. And right there, glowing in the center of it, is something the color of amber.

"And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire." — Ezekiel 1:4

Now hold onto that word. Amber. It is not just a pretty color to Ezekiel. That word is about to crack this whole vision wide open.

Stay with me, because this is where it gets good. The word amber is where we get the word electron from. In Greek it is ēlektron. In Latin it is electrum. Both trace back to an older word, ēlektōr, which means something close to beaming sun. The ancients rubbed amber together and watched it spark and pull at little pieces of straw, and they had no name for what they were seeing except the word for that glowing stone.

So when Ezekiel reaches for amber to describe what is glowing in the middle of that fire, I do not think he is just picking a pretty color. I think the prophet is reaching for the only language available to him to describe electrons. Little beaming points of light in motion.

Keep going with me....If that amber glow is electrons, then the wheel within a wheel that Ezekiel keeps describing starts to look like something else entirely. It starts to look like an atom. Two shells, two orbitals, spinning around a center point.

And check this. The elements that carry exactly two shells are not random elements. Oxygen. Nitrogen. Carbon. The same three elements sitting at the foundation of every living cell on this earth.

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." — John 1:14

Before the Word ever became flesh in Bethlehem, I believe Ezekiel was already being shown how it would happen. Atom by atom. Element by element. The prophet was watching the blueprint of the incarnation get sketched out in the sky, centuries before Christ walked into a manger.

The real question is: what came and scooped elijah up! 🔥🛸🤔
