Triangle E Homestead
Who wore it better?
They’re here….let’s see how many we have once we get home. Any bets? I ordered 100, but they add extra.
Talking to my son on the way home tonight the reality of how many chicks we have here and on the way really hit LOL! My big incubator has over 90% fertility rate going on in it. I still have over 100 developing in it. Plus quail, turkey & goose eggs. Mixture of keepers & cheeps for customers.
I have a few actively hatching in a smaller incubator that has another 30ish that will be candles over the weekend. A 24 loaded a couple days ago with duck, Tolbunt polish & assorted other pretty eggs.
100 Cornish cross chicks arriving tomorrow. They are scheduled for processing beginning of June, and there will be some available for customers.
12 Ayem Cemani eggs arriving tomorrow.
I have about 50 growouts ready for the grow out pen when the weather clears. Need to count. I only lost one chick in the 100+ chicks split between growouts & brooders.
3 brooders with chicks & one with quail.
Of those I have 8 BCM & 4 goslings headed to customers. The rest of the brooders & growouts are staying.
Now what is in the incubators is a mix of keep and sell, but still that’s a lot of cheeps. 🙃
