Welcome to Xiaomei, our optometric intern for this quarter.

Throughout her training, she is gaining valuable experience in diagnosing and managing a variety of ocular conditions, including keratoconus, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Working alongside Drs. Robillard and Hamel has sparked a particular interest in dry eye management and the fitting of specialty contact lenses, especially scleral lenses.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing pickleball, and finding new experiences and adventures wherever she goes!
