If your vehicle's belt tensioner wears out you may get a squeaky belt. Worse this means your vehicle's belt driven accessories such as your alternator may not be rotating at their designed speed. This could result in poor charging from your vehicles alternator. Sp check your tensioner at ever belt change. Replace it if it's not tight!
