Reminder for B-83 entry PT Test beginning next week. Looking forward to seeing everyone, and we always appreciate those who are willing to serve.

Last week marked Week 4 for NMLETC Class B-82. The week started with the 4-week PT test, and every cadet passed their required minimums, with all scores over 70 percent. That says a lot about the work this group has put in so far.

The rest of the week focused on defensive tactics, specifically SSGT, which is both intense and very physical. Along with the hands-on training, the cadets also completed the Level 1 and Level 2 written exams. Every cadet passed, with all scores above 80 percent.

This may be one of the smaller classes, but their resilience and effort are showing more each week.

Week 5 began yesterday, and it’s already shaping up to be a busy and full week. Yesterday afternoon, the class participated in the Special Olympics Torch Run at Fairpark in Tupelo. Tupelo Police Department
