The event is hosted by Representative Rickey Thompson and Representative Justin Crosby. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from event organizers and learn more about the campaign.

Don’t forget—there’s a special election happening tomorrow, Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, to fill the House of Representatives District 16 seat following redistricting.

District 16 includes parts of Lee, Pontotoc, Monroe, and Chickasaw County!

There will only be a Democratic primary, so this is your only chance to vote for your Representative!

Since this is a state election, you will vote at your county precinct, not the municipal locations.
