💚 Seeking support for your mental health is an act of strength. 💚

Everyone deserves to feel supported, heard, and empowered to prioritize their mental well-being.

Too often, stigma, discrimination, and cultural expectations create barriers that make it difficult for individuals to ask for help. Bebe Moore Campbell dedicated her life to changing that by encouraging open conversations about mental health and advocating for equitable access to care in underserved communities.

This Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Month, NAMI Tulsa is proud to stand alongside individuals, families, and community partners to help reduce stigma, encourage honest conversations, and remind everyone that seeking support is a sign of courage—not weakness.

No one should have to face mental health challenges alone. By listening without judgment, sharing resources, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and understood, we can build a stronger, healthier community together.

Mental health support should reflect the communities it serves. 💙

During Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, NAMI Tulsa is recognizing the importance of culturally responsive mental health care and the need to ensure every individual has access to support that honors their experiences, culture, and stories.

Culturally competent mental health care shouldn’t be a luxury—it should be the standard. By listening, learning, and working together, we can reduce stigma, strengthen connections, and create communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.

Join us in continuing the conversation and helping build a future where mental health care is accessible, respectful, and responsive for all.
