INCREASED TORNADO RISK TONIGHT: Severe weather potential increases tonight into early Sunday, with storms most likely developing between 10 PM and 4 AM across northeast Oklahoma.

Our area has an elevated risk for tornados, with a 5-9% probability of a tornado developing within 25 miles of a point in the brown shaded area on the map. This does not mean there will be a massive outbreak tonight but the risk is not zero.

The severe threat will diminish by sunrise. Looking ahead, unsettled weather persists through mid to late week, with another round of severe storms possible late Tuesday into Wednesday. Rain chances continue into next weekend. Stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive warnings overnight.
