Tulsa Fire Department

Just after 3 p.m., Tulsa Fire Department crews responded to a house fire near E. 15th Pl. and S. 129th E. Ave. after multiple neighbors called 911 to report smoke coming from the home.

Engine 66, Ladder 66, and other District 2 crews arrived quickly, located the fire, and confined it to the room of origin before extinguishing it.

Everyone safely evacuated the home before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported.

The American Red Cross is being contacted to assist the displaced residents.

This incident is another reminder that if you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately. Quick reporting by neighbors and a rapid response from firefighters helped limit the damage.
