We’re proud to share newly published research in Drug Safety exploring how health information exchanges (HIEs) may support population-based post-market surveillance of medical products through work connected to the FDA Sentinel Initiative.

The study examined data from MyHealth Access Network, Oklahoma’s statewide HIE, and its potential role in advancing real-world evidence and population health research.

The research highlights how connected health data infrastructure can help support broader healthcare innovation, public health insight, and future collaboration between healthcare, research, and regulatory organizations.

Congratulations to all who contributed to this work, including David Kendrick, MD, MPH, FACP, MyHealth Data Scientist Jenny Sun, Ph.D, and MyHealth Director of Clinical Informatics Katy Decker, DNP, MBA.

This week, we’re recognizing and celebrating the EMS professionals who provide critical care and rapid response for communities across Oklahoma during EMS Week.

Emergency medical services teams are often the first point of care during some of life’s most urgent moments. Their work requires quick decision-making, coordination, and access to timely information that can help support patient care.

We’re proud to work alongside EMS organizations across Oklahoma, including Pafford EMS, Medford EMS, the Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA), and the City of Broken Arrow Fire Department, as part of our statewide health information exchange network.

Thank you to the EMS professionals who serve patients and communities across our state every day.

We’re excited to welcome a few new faces to the MyHealth team. Help us say hello to Carly, Pete, and Emma.

Carly Forgrave joins us as a Marketing Specialist. Outside of work, she enjoys knitting and is currently learning how to spin and dye her own yarn. Safe to say, creativity comes naturally to her.

Pete Walton joins as a Community and Network Engagement Manager. When he’s not working to strengthen relationships on behalf of MyHealth, you’ll likely find him near the water, whether that’s boating, scuba diving, or soaking up the sun.

Emma Cooper also joins our team as a Healthcare Data Quality Lead. She stays busy outside the office with golfing, pickleball, camping, and spending time on the water. Most of all, she enjoys making memories and taking adventures with her family.

We’re glad to have all three of them on board and look forward to the impact they’ll make at MyHealth Access Network.
