“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us…”

The Gospel begins with God’s initiative, not ours. Before we reached for Him, He reached for us. Before we understood His love, He demonstrated it through Jesus.

The cross is not proof of how much we love God. It is the eternal declaration of how much God loves us.

When we become rooted in that love, it transforms the way we see ourselves and the way we see others. Beloved people love people. Forgiven people forgive people. Those who have received mercy become carriers of mercy.

OC Family, may we continually live from the revelation that we are deeply loved by the Father and allow that love to overflow into every relationship around us.
