The Patio Restaurant & Lounge is booked & busy tonight!

There are very few moments in life where we watch an individual’s ascent to become the GOAT. At the age of 16, Jace was just that from moment he walked into training in February 2021! We must admit—we didn’t think he would make it. Rumor has it he opted out of certain sports because he wouldn’t cut his long, shaggy hair. After Jace applied and was hired, we explained that he wouldn’t have to cut it but he would be required to follow policy surrounding long hair. Up until last week, GM Teresa Wilson was still putting his hair in a “man bun” at every shift, just minutes before dinner service…Not because she had to but because she wanted to. It was a very maternal moment… so, very very sweet! But none of that mattered because of Jace’s steadfast dedication to the Patio standard. Truth is: Jace IS the Patio standard. Most young kids these days would rather work elsewhere but for Jace he was determined to always do his best. He’s right… we created this award in his honor because of all the wonderful traits he mentioned. He’s also kind, funny, reliable, drama-free, cares, and takes great pride when training new staff members. It’s not often, if ever, do you hear a young teenager tell a 30-something colleague … “Hey, great job tonight!” But that’s Jace Stotts. Last year, when we decided we wanted to build this tradition, there wasn’t really anyone who did what Jace did. And so we, with Teresa’s consent, created the Jace Stotts’ Award, to be given every New Year’s Eve to a Patio team member who embodies the high standard that Jace himself created. Oh…the award also includes a $250.00 cash prize!! We could not be more proud of Jace. Please help us congratulate him and then let’s cheer him on as he makes the very difficult choice of the first recipient. We trust he’ll get it right. Why? Because he always does.
