Welcome Landon Kime as the newest member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard! 🇺🇸

Landon has big plans for his future. He will be attending Rogers State University while participating in the GOLD Program, an officer commissioning program for the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Through the Guard’s education benefits, Landon will have 100% of his tuition and fees paid all the way through a master’s degree, along with federal benefits like the GI Bill ($493/month), GI Bill Kicker ($350/month), and up to $4,500 per year in Federal Tuition Assistance.

Because of these opportunities, Landon will be able to graduate debt-free and focus on building his future career in the medical field without the burden of student loans. I’m extremely proud of the commitment he’s made to serve his state and country, and I have no doubt he will be a great asset to the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Congratulations, Landon! 💪🇺🇸

We’ve had a great day so far. We are speaking with the seniors at Oologah High School about the opportunities available through the Oklahoma Army National Guard. It’s always a privilege to talk with students about the different paths they can take after graduation and show them how the Guard can help them move forward. We have been discussing how the Guard can help them financially with 100% tuition and fees paid at any Oklahoma public college, while also giving them valuable job training, leadership experience, and skills that look great on a résumé.

The Oklahoma Army National Guard allows young men and women to serve their community and country while still pursuing college or a civilian career. It’s a great option for students who want real-world work experience, professional certifications, and the chance to graduate with little to no student debt. I appreciate Oologah High School for giving us the opportunity to come speak with their seniors today and share what the Guard has to offer.

Congratulations and welcome to the newest member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard family, Owasso High School junior Mason Henderson.

Mason just made a decision that less than 1% of the U.S. population is willing to make by stepping up to serve something bigger than himself. He is joining through the Split Option Program, heading to Basic Training this summer, returning to complete his senior year, and then attending job training after graduation.

By taking this step, he will not miss a semester of college and has secured the opportunity to graduate debt free through the Guard’s education assistance program, which covers 100% of tuition and fees at any Oklahoma state university.

Proud of you, PVT Henderson. Excited to see where this journey takes you. 🇺🇸💪
