Piper needs a Foster. She is currently located in Junction City, KS. Transport is provided for Fosters within MARR’s coverage area(details in post).
Piper is a happy, passive and gentle lap dog. She is calm, more on the serious side, reserved, well-mannered, not mouthy, loves to be loved on, very sweet, loyal, and very chill. She typically is not moved by people coming into the home. She does react to Cats, squirrels and rabbits while leashed on her walks. She will resource guard toys with some animals.
Piper will need someone to help her continue to lose weight. Piper is an old soul who wants to just hang out and not burn calories. She does not really play with toys and she is fine with other dogs, men, women and kids who are used to larger dogs. Her current foster has other dogs in the home and she is fine with everyone. She does let out the normal rumble every now and again but no activity behind it. She knows sit and lay down but that is probably the extent of her training. She’s a great older female rottie who just wants to find her person to spend the rest of her days with.
