I was dead: lost, unconscious and unresponsive. We all were! In case we forgot the condition we were in when we received and believed the gospel of Jesus, it's critical to remind ourselves our former state. Why? If you have lost your appreciation and thrill of your salvation, spending eternity in heaven and sharing the gospel, then , yea, we need reminding how dismal our previous destination was. Thank God for His abundant mercy by resuscitating us with His Divine Breath of Holy Spirit!

Ephesians 2:1 TPT
And his fullness fills you, even though you were once like corpses, dead in your sins and offenses.

To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has compassed us with favor, honored us with blessings, and made us acceptable in Christ! Ephesians 1:6 The angel in Luke 1 used this same word for 'compasses with favor' when he shouted to Mary, 'Greetings, highly favored one!' Being in Christ, we are highly favored ones, alleviating the need to worry, stress, or be anxious today. Receive and walk in the glory or weight of His grace today! Romans 5:17

Day 17 The Unborn Rejoice over the news Jesus will be born soon! While the Wisemen trudged West, Mary spent valuable time with Elizabeth, who was pregnant with John the Baptist, being encouraged and strengthened.
