When opportunity knocks, Corey Payne answers.

Throughout his time at KIPP Tulsa, Corey has embraced every chance to grow—serving as varsity basketball captain, participating in multiple leadership programs, interning at Ascension St. John, and making an impact throughout the Tulsa community.

But what stands out most isn't his long list of accomplishments—it's his humility, servant leadership, and commitment to helping others.

Through programs like My Brother's Keeper, Corey has grown in confidence and discovered the power of using his voice to make a difference. Whether speaking with city leaders, mentoring peers, or serving his community, he's shown what can happen when talent is matched with purpose.

This fall, Corey will continue his journey at Oral Roberts University, where he plans to study theology and pursue a future in ministry and missionary work.

We're incredibly proud of Corey and can't wait to see the impact he'll make in the years ahead.
