A local non-profit that provides food, clothing, utility payments, vision care, and infant supplies is looking for a Director of their Food Department.

This position is paid at $18.50/hour and involves 10-15 hours per week. Primary days of involvement are Tuesday and Wednesday (our major grocery distribution day) and are non-negotiable.
You will oversee a committed group of weekly volunteers, and recruit and train their replacements when needed.
The applicant will need to obtain a Food Handlers permit, drive our van for food pickup from the Tulsa Food Bank and various locations. The position involves loading and lifting food supplies picked up from the various agencies/stores that supply our Food Department.

We are one of the larger distribution points in Tulsa and serve the Northeast Oklahoma region. The current Dept head loves her job but is leaving to have her first baby. She will train you before she departs.

The applicant must be a leader, personable, have a friendly disposition, and a heart to help hurting people.
