As a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, the USAR Foundation is dedicated to providing disaster relief organizations with additional training, personnel, equipment, and specialized resources in the aftermath of a disaster.

Donations of this nature ensure that our team is adequately equipped with the necessary resources.

In light of the possibility of severe storms tonight, now is an opportune time to prepare for tornado season 🌪️. Preparations should include cleaning out your storm shelter, replacing and storing bottled water, checking batteries, ensuring your weather radio is functional, and having an emergency plan in place. Meet Bugatti, our February calendar dog! Bugatti ,aka Bug, came onto the OKTF1 as a 12 week old puppy. After a year of training she became a deployable member of the team. With her fearless and headstrong personality she takes her job extremely seriously, which leaves her handler saying, “Bug please don’t do that!” often! At home, she enjoys being the shadow of her handler Danielle Weaveo. Oh and fetch… LOTS OF FETCH.

Danielle says, “Bug loves going to work and she loves her job. As her handler, I’m blessed to get her as my partner.”
