Yay yay it's our favorite day!!! Cheese Club!!! π§π€
Shiraya has been putting together this special menu over the last few month's to celebrate our sweet cheese prince, Pax, turning 4 years old this June!!! π

It was only right that this month's Premier wine was from π₯Ή Funny Bug is a 2022 vintage (Pax's birth year) MourvΓ¨dre & Grenache blend that is jammy & so so yummy. Classic wine was a great expression of a mature MourvΓ¨dre from π

Happy Cheese & Cheers Wednesday!!!! We are so pumped for our workshop this Saturday with soooo we wanted to give ya a lil sneak peek at one of the new cheeses we brought in just for this event π§π₯π
Pickle Gouda is made at a traditional Dutch dairy in Overijssel, where cheeses are aged on wooden shelves & constantly monitored to ensure the best quality goudas. Barison makes unique flavors like garlic, kimchi, spicy ginger, wasabi, sweet pepper, lavender... the list goes on! Their pickle gouda is made with Kesbeke pickles, a local & traditional sweet and sour pickle from Amsterdam. Creamy cheese is met with bright & tart dill pickle notes! So yummy for snacking, melting on a grilled cheese, or my (Savannah) ideal usage - grated on top of a hot dog π
We will be pairing this with sparkling rosΓ©, one of our favorite wines out of California! Made from pinot noir grapes that sit 400ft above the fog line in Mendocino meaning grapes hang on the vine longer & cool air keeps the grapes crisp & acidic. Dark fruits & bright bubbles will cut through the creamy, pickley gouda for a perfect palette cleanser before your next bite!
