Meet Nathan!

With 10 years in the UAS industry and over 20 years in strategy and operations at Fortune 500 companies globally, Nathan Ruff co-founded UASidekick to help early-adopter drone pilots fly safely and obtain controlled airspace authorization quickly and easily. After UASidekick's acquisition by AirWise Solutions, Nathan was promoted to President at AirWise, continuing his passion for enabling safe and inclusive airspace.

Educated at Brown University, Georgetown University, and the Institute of d'Etudes Politiques, Nathan is certified as an FAA Part 61 Private Pilot, FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, USPA Skydiver, and USPPA Power Paraglider. He's an original member of the FAA Unmanned Aircraft Safety Team (Drone Safety Team), NASA's UTM Data Exchange Working Group, the FAA UAS in Controlled Airspace Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC), and SIA Public Safety and Autonomous Security Robotics Working Groups.
