Resinous Flooring Supply

This next project was in Bartlesville, OK, for a wonderful homeowner that wanted to have the floor in her sun room done, but was unsure of what exactly to do with it. She wanted to coat the floor and incorporate some earth tones along with some blue color. We recommended the “Dakota Trail” flake blend to compliment the beautiful interior rock fountain as well as the surrounding white brick, but also add some flare with the two-tone blue. The homeowner agreed and was thrilled with the result!

For the equipment shown, we use the 20” Lavina 20GE Planetary grinder to remove the existing top layer of concrete to achieve the desired surface profile. Also featured is the VFG Combo 20 Professional HEPA Dust extractor, which is used to eliminate concrete dust from going everywhere, and to thoroughly vacuum the entire floor. If you want to get your prep work done correctly, these two pieces of equipment are essential.
Once the prep work was complete, we layed down a 2-part, 100% solids Moisture V***r Barrier Epoxy coating and then broadcasted the Dakota Trail flakes to rejection to achieve full coverage.
For the top coat, we used a 90% solids UV resistant Polyaspartic clear coat to seal the floor.
The results were incredible and truly transformed this sun room and the homeowner couldn’t have been happier! We had a great time on this project and we were happy to serve this great customer.
