Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

Look what we created in our Culinary Clay class last night—an incredible assortment of ceramic donuts! From colorful sprinkles to realistic glazes and textures, these handmade creations were almost good enough to eat.

To help inspire our artists, we brought in a box of real donuts for close observation (and a little quality control tasting). The results were amazing—each ceramic donut has its own personality and delicious-looking details.

It’s always fun to see how everyday objects can become works of art when viewed through a maker’s eye.
