🇺🇸 Shoutout to Staff Sergeant Ashley 🇺🇸

Today we recognize SSgt Ashley, a Tucson native and United States Marine, promoted at the Arizona Heroes Memorial in Oro Valley.

Getting promoted at a place that honors those who served before us is a reminder that rank is earned, leadership is lived, and service never stands alone. From Tucson to wearing the chevrons of a Staff Noncommissioned Officer—this is what commitment to the United States Marine Corps looks like.

Well deserved, Staff Sergeant. Semper Fidelis.

Celebrating Equality, Breaking Barrier's 💪 ✨

August 26 recognizes Women's Equality Day, established by Joint Resolution of Congress in 1971. The day commemorates the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which gave women the right to vote. The observance has grown to include focusing attention on women's continued efforts toward gaining full equality.

Pictured above is the 2023 Department of Defense’s Women’s Equality Day poster. It depicts the first all-female team of naval aviators to conduct a Super Bowl flyover at the 2023 Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona.
