New Marana Middle School 7th graders: Get ready for middle school this July at MMS Falcon Camp! Marana Middle School’s Falcon Summer Camp is a free four-day program to help students feel confident and prepared for their transition to middle school. Students will explore campus, meet teachers and staff, practice class transitions, and make new friends before the school year begins.

Uncovering the History of Marana Schools

In this year’s issue of the Horizon, the District's print magazine, we dug into the history of Marana Schools over the past 115 years. From scattered board-and-canvas classrooms serving railroad and farming communities, to the Marana High School we know it today opening in 1975 way off Emigh Road, to junior high students being the first class of students to enroll at Mountain View in the late 80s, our history highlights the good that can happen when communities support their local public K-12 schools. Our Hawks had an amazing time at this year’s End of School Year Field Day! From obstacle courses and team challenges to nonstop laughter and school spirit, it was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible year together. 💜🦅

A huge THANK YOU to the Marana High School Football and Marana High School Volleyball teams for volunteering their time to help make the day so special!

These student athletes helped run events, encouraged our students, and brought so much energy and positivity to the day. Our PRE Hawks absolutely loved it!
