Good morning from one of our favorite little Idaho stops 🤍
Two nights ago we stayed at a BLM spot near Hammer Creek, and every time we stop here it reminds us why we love this lifestyle so much. No fancy resort, no packed campground…just peaceful quiet, wide open views, and the kind of stillness you can actually feel.
We spotted a deer wandering through, caught sight of an elk up on the ridge, and listened to birds singing most of the evening. Something big was making all kinds of racket in the trees nearby, but whatever it was never decided to show itself 😂
One of the best parts? Sleeping with the windows open and cool fresh air blowing through the camper all night long. Those are the nights that reset your soul a little.
Moments like these are the ones that stick with us most. Just us, the rig, fresh air, and another beautiful Idaho evening on the journey back to Alaska. 🌲🦌✨
Signs that make me laugh while traveling…. 🤣

There’s just something special about those quiet mornings in a place that instantly feels like peace. ☕️
Sitting by the river with a warm cup of coffee, listening to the water roll by and the birds waking up around us…this is the kind of moment that fills your soul back up. Add in the giant hills surrounding us here in Idaho, and it’s easy to understand why we never want to leave spots like this.
RV life isn’t always glamorous, but mornings like these remind us exactly why we chose this lifestyle. Slower moments. Beautiful places. Grateful hearts. ❤️
We sure wish we could stay a little longer.

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy every day. 🇺🇸
Memorial Day is more than the start of summer or a long weekend…it’s a time to honor the sacrifice, courage, and selflessness of those who never made it home. We are forever grateful to the heroes and the families who carry their memory forward.
As we travel this beautiful country, we’re reminded that freedom has never been free. Today we remember, reflect, and give thanks. ❤️🤍💙

Who else has gone to see the new Mandalorian and Grogu movie? We just went last night and Steve got us the D-box seats which made it that much more fun! And of course he splurged on the Mando souvenirs 😉

Back on the road today with grateful hearts and a little extra reflection this Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸
As we travel these highways and see the beauty of this country, we’re reminded that freedom was never free. So many brave men and women gave everything so families like ours can chase dreams, gather with loved ones, and live this life on the open road.
Today we’re thankful for safe travels, answered prayers, and the quiet reminders from God to slow down and appreciate the blessings all around us — even in the miles, the traffic, the fuel stops, and the ordinary moments in between.
Praying for protection over everyone traveling this weekend and remembering the heroes who sacrificed so much for this nation. ❤️🤍💙
Not every stop on this journey is mountain views, lakeside sunsets, and wide open spaces. Sometimes RV life looks a lot more like playing sardines in a packed campground with slides practically touching and zero privacy 😅
But honestly? That’s part of the adventure too. Some nights are breathtaking boondocking spots… and some nights are parking-lot-level cozy. You learn to laugh, adapt, and appreciate the good spots even more when they come along.
This lifestyle isn’t perfect, but it’s still ours — cramped campsites, noisy neighbors, tight turns and all. And we wouldn’t trade the memories, freedom, and experiences for anything. 🚐💙
Who else has had one of those “well… at least we’re parked” kind of campground nights? 😂
