VOYAGER
(Recommended for 6th – 12th Grades)
History of Aviation program is a prerequisite to the Voyager program. Eight lesson / ten-week program that focuses on aviation pioneers such as the Wright Brothers, Charles Lindberg, and Amelia Earhart and concludes with “last first in aviation” – the non-stop, around the world flight of the Voyager.
Students then learn how to plot and plan their own flight on an aeronautical chart which the student will use to navigate during their Fly Day. Students who successfully complete the program are awarded the privilege of flying in a light aircraft with a volunteer pilot.
Upon landing, each student receives a certificate and a Voyager T-shirt that is available only to Wright Flight graduates.
