Master your mind, transform your golf game.
Most golfers chase a perfect swing, but the real breakthrough comes from within. What if your next round was shaped not just by your technique, but by the story you tell yourself before every shot?
After four decades on the course, I’ve seen that true growth begins when we learn to trust our inner game. The body follows where the mind leads.
If you’re ready to experience golf as a journey of resilience and joy, I invite you to book a session here in Oro Valley. Let’s unlock the mindset that changes everything.

The Southwest PGA Foundation is pleased to announce this year's Birdies for Good fundraiser on Friday, September 6, 2024.
In cooperation with more than a dozen local Southwest PGA golf professionals, I need your help as we strive to raise dollars and awareness for a very deserving cause in our community. This event has been created as a way for us to utilize the great game that has provided each of us with so much as a way to give back to the community and those in need.
This year's "Birdies for Good" day will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Southwest PGA Foundation: Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) provides essential support and comfort to children and their families who are receiving treatment at world-renowned pediatric centers across the metro areas where we are hosting events. By visiting their website, you can learn more about the myriad ways RMHC makes a difference in the lives of those in need during difficult times. Southwest PGA Foundation supports our youth programs and PGA HOPE veteran-centric initiatives. The Southwest PGA Foundation is dedicated to making a lasting impact in our communities through various initiatives. Our youth programs and Special Olympics focus on providing educational opportunities, life skills development, and access to golf, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential. PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is a program that uses golf as a therapeutic tool to enhance veterans' physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. Many veterans who participate in PGA HOPE have reported significant improvements in their quality of life, including reduced symptoms of PTSD, decreased feelings of isolation, and improved physical health. PGA HOPE has saved lives by providing a supportive community and a positive outlet, giving veterans a renewed sense of purpose and hope.
Thank you to Generation Golf for hosting "Birdies for Good" at Dorado Golf Club in Tucson, AZ. On this day, [PARTNER] and I will participate, along with my fellow PGA professionals, by playing 72 holes to make as many birdies and eagles as possible. I am seeking pledges from individuals and companies for every birdie and eagle that we make (note: one eagle is equivalent to two birdies). Our goal is to make between eighteen and thirty-six birdies during the event.
The Southwest PGA Foundation has created a unique website at https://birdiesforgood.org/SC24/ that will accept your contribution. Making your pledge via credit card on this website is easy and safe and provides a fun way for you to track our progress before and during the event. Simply, CLICK HERE or the link below to take you to the webpage. Your pledge will not be processed until the completion of the event.
Please feel free to call or email me at [email protected] if you have any questions regarding our "Birdies for Good" initiative. I would be happy to chat with you about this important initiative we are undertaking. We are all taught that often the best way to say thank you is to pay it forward. The game of golf has provided me with such wonderful opportunities and experiences. We appreciate your consideration in supporting us.

I am excited to introduce my latest endeavor, a project of both passion and perseverance—my new book, "GOLF Body, Mind and Soul - The Heart of the Game." This journey to publication has been a long time coming, marked by moments of doubt and hesitation. For years, I struggled with procrastination, questioning my identity as an author and battling the nagging feeling of being an imposter in the literary world. Especially for the fact that I can’t spell and my grammar is awful at best. Who was I to write a book? Yet, despite these challenges, my love for the game of golf and the deeper lessons it offers about life drove me forward.
Writing this book has been a transformative experience, allowing me to explore the connection between the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of the game of golf and life. "GOLF Body, Mind, and Soul - The Heart of the Game" is more than just a concept on how to play; it's an invitation to understand how every shot and every moment on the course can mirror the successes and so-called failures we face in life.
As I share this journey of love for golf and life with you, I humbly ask for your support. If you find yourself drawn to find out my thoughts or if you’re curious about the deeper philosophies behind the game and how it relates to life, I encourage you to read my book. And if it resonates with you, please consider leaving a review on Amazon. Your feedback not only helps others discover the book but also supports me in continuing this incredibly rewarding journey. My goal has always been if it could just help one person to enjoy the game and love life to its full potential, it was well worth my time and effort.
Thank you for sharing this milestone with me. I am excited to hear your thoughts and hope you find both enjoyment and enlightenment in these pages.
To your continued success and may “The Lord Bless and Keep You.”
Rick
