We’re almost ready for tomorrow night’s launch! This live band burlesque show is inspired by the Ventures In Space album and the band will be covering plenty of tunes from that very album along with other cosmic surf tunes, and even a couple of original songs by The Furys! And just wait ’til you see what the band is wearing! I hope you’re as excited for this show as I am!

Burlesque is my passion, and the opportunity to perform the art of st******se for an appreciative audience is a thrill beyond compare! It is my sincere pleasure to create a show with First Fridays Burlesque, along with Tucson and Southern Arizona’s most entertaining performers, to bring you: Burlesque In Space, featuring live music by The Furys! I couldn’t be more proud to have The Furys as our band for the Burlesque In Space show! The members of The Furys are not only highly accomplished musicians but are also the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Here’s a little more about them!

The Furys are a “Desert Surf” band, comprised of Jacob Jakerson (guitar), Hank Norush (bass), and George Palenzuela (drums), and are influenced by the sounds of Dick Dale, The Lively Ones, The Pyramids, Duane Eddy, and The Ventures.

In Burlesque In Space, The Furys will be covering your favorite super surfy tunes that’ll have you over the moon with excitement! And, each burlesque performer has chosen their music, costume, and choreography to create acts uniquely their own. You won’t want to miss this exciting show!!!
