Today is National Bereaved Parents Day—a day to recognize the profound and lifelong grief carried by bereaved parents.
This day is not about moving past loss, but about acknowledging it. It’s about making space for the love that remains, the grief that endures, and the courage it takes to continue forward while carrying both.
To all bereaved parents: your child’s life mattered, and your grief deserves recognition, not silence. Support can be as simple as listening, saying a name, or showing up with a steady presence.

Nearly 30 years ago, Tu Nidito opened its doors with our first client, a one-year-old diagnosed with Cirrhosis who survived only 17 days, and during that year, supported 12 families with terminally ill children.
As we celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we’re growing our Endowment Fund to ensure Tu Nidito will always be here for Southern Arizona families. Thanks to a generous donor, every endowment gift made in 2026 will be matched up to $30,000.
