Carolina Noriega (KEYS 2018) was a panelist for the BIO5 Inspiring Careers in Research event on July 1, where she shared her journey from KEYS intern to doctoral candidate in the Family Studies and Human Development Program at the University of Arizona.

Carolina spoke with students about finding your own path, building resilience through challenges and believing in yourself at every stage of a research career. Her story is a wonderful reminder that every journey looks different, and that's what makes it inspiring.

On June 24, we were honored to celebrate 20 years of the KEYS Research Internship with an incredible community of students, alumni, mentors and supporters.

The evening was filled with conversation, music, dancing and great food, but the true highlight was celebrating the people who have made KEYS such a meaningful program over the past two decades. Thank you to everyone who joined us to recognize this milestone and the lasting impact of the KEYS community.

Here's to the next 20 years of inspiring future scientists and building connections that last well beyond the summer. 💙
