there's a lot of noise fed chair, the feds decision on rates... but I only look for the real analysis from Long Realty's CEO, Kevin Kaplan:

"We should assume that mortgage rates remain above 6% for longer than previously expected, and that the broader market will continue to be defined by affordability constraints and lower turnover. The takeaway is straightforward: the environment is not going to change quickly. Which brings us back to where we are focused. If rates are not coming down in the near term, our role is not to wait, it is to help buyers navigate the market as it exists today and not what it "could be" 6 to 12 months from now."
