Hi everyone, I know it has been a long time since you’ve heard from me.

I wanted to share with you that I have officially retired this past summer for personal reasons, and some of you have known all that I’ve been through recently.

The decision was not easy and I have a heavy heart as I love and miss you all so much. You have brought me so much love and joy over the years and I want you to know you are truly missed in my life.

Some of you may feel as though I gave you so much of myself, which I did because I believe in loving people. But, most of you don’t realize how much you gave me back in return.

I had a career that I love and will always cherish, it has been my purpose in life.

I’m not sure how to turn the page on this next chapter, but I sure know it will be with all of you in my mind and in my heart.

Thank you for all the trust and love you have given me over the years, it is what has built me.

I wish you all the best life has to offer in health, wellness, and joy.

If you ever see me out and about, it would be wonderful to reconnect with you and a hug is always nice 😊.

Today's Heart of Northwest Healthcare winners are Peggy Schoon, Christina Smith, Aimee "Mimi" Anderson, Eric Place, and April Palencia Demaille, RN!

Peggy works in admitting at OVH. She is always checking the details of our patient scheduling and making sure everything is scheduled correctly before a patient arrives. We are so grateful for Peggy!

Christina is the cornerstone of the schedulers at Northwest Allied Bariatric and Foregut Surgery. She schedules surgery for both providers and always helps out wherever she is needed!

Mimi is a Medical Assistant at Northwest Allied Physicians at Desert Bloom. She is compassionate, attentive to patient needs, dependable and trustworthy. Thanks for your hard work, Mimi!

Eric is a pharmacist at NMC. Throughout the pandemic he has collaborated closely with physicians when using COVID study drugs. He has also been supporting the ICU pharmacists with drug therapy oversight and is always responsive, even in the evenings and on the weekend.

April is a nurse in the emergency room at NMC. She is a hard worker who can handle anything thrown at her with grace. She has been working with COVID patients in the ER and always has a smile on, even behind her mask!

There is so much going on in our lives, take a deep breath, meditate, pray, exercise, read something uplifting, laugh, take time for yourself...breath...

We are open this week M-F (most likely 1/2 day friday).

We continue to do telemedicine and in office appointments when needed. We continue to protect your health with temperature taking, masking and sanitizing.
