Himmel Park Library

The Himmel Park Library (1035 N. Treat Ave.) is now temporarily closed for a major renovation and expansion. We anticipate the renovation will take about 1.5 to 2 years. The book chute will be closed during the closure. Please return your materials to other branches for the duration of the closure.

In case you missed it... The Himmel Park Library will close on Monday, June 30th for a major renovation and expansion. We anticipate the renovation will take about 1.5 to 2 years. Among the exciting changes, the renovated location will include a larger meeting room, an exterior reading porch, and improved daylight with views to the park.
