Why join Greek Life?: Since I am from Phoenix, Arizona, along with a lot of other students at the University of Arizona, there are a lot of people from my high school that also came to the university and I wanted to find my own sense of identity. I really wanted to branch out of the Arizona bubble from high school and find a place I can make my own. I decided to join Greek Life as an opportunity to be my own person and make friendships that will last a lifetime. I found a house that allowed me to learn more about who I am and what I valued the most in friendships and myself.
What advice would you give to a PNM going through recruitment?: The biggest piece of advice is to be yourself and to go into recruitment with an open mind. You will find where you belong and the people will love you for exactly you are. Every house here at the University of Arizona is so amazing and has its own unique qualities, so express who you truly are and you will end up exactly where you are supposed to be!
Favorite Greek Life memory: My favorite Greek life memory so far has been having the opportunity to live in our chapter facility my sophomore and junior year. That experience brought me my very best friends and allowed me to feel more connected to my chapter and the other chapters on campus. I made the most timeless memories living on Greek row. Living in the chapter facility brought me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible and I am grateful for the time I spent living there.

For our seventh chapter president spotlight we will be hearing from Grace Celigoy who is the Delta Gamma president! 🧸💌💐
Hometown: Scottsdale, Arizona
Major: Accounting
Why join Greek Life?: I joined a sorority to find a group of like-minded women who would push me to be the best version of myself, and I found exactly that. Greek life has gotten me out of my comfort zone while also providing me a space to be myself. It has made me feel confident enough to do things I never thought possible, like serving as chapter president. It has provided so many opportunities to grow as a person, whether that be personally, socially, or professionally. Greek life completely changed my college experience, and I can wholeheartedly say that it is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
What advice would you give to a PNM going through recruitment?: It sounds cliche but be yourself! It will all work out and you will end up exactly where you’re meant to be.
Favorite Greek Life Memory: Living in the Delta Gamma chapter facility the past two years! Living in is such a special experience that brought me closer to so many girls. There is always someone around to study, eat, watch a movie, or hang out with. You’ll never be bored if you get the chance to live in!

Hometown: Round Rock, TX
Major: Nutritional Sciences with a Thematic Minor in Sports Nutrition and Precision Health and Wellness
Why join Greek Life?: Joining Greek Life was one of the best decisions I made during college! Greek Life brings amazing women together all with the purpose of having impactful conversations, making memorable moments, and building lifelong friends. Looking back at my college experience so far, Greek Life brought me my best friends, memories that I will never forget, and opportunities that have grown me professionally and personally! This community is so special to me and I can’t wait for more women to experience it as well!
What advice would you give to a PNM going through recruitment?: The advice I would give to a PNM going through recruitment would be that everything happens for a reason. It is something you will probably hear a lot but it is so true with the recruitment process. The recruitment process can be nerve-wracking at times but remembering that it all will work out in the end will provide you with a lot of peace! The goal of recruitment is to help you find your place in Greek Life and to make lasting memories throughout your college career! Speaking from personal experience, everything truly does happen for a reason!!
Favorite Greek Life memory: My favorite memory was our bid day last year. It was so fun getting to see everyone dancing and cheering on the new member class. All our members went all out with their outfits and you could feel the excitement everyone had when celebrating the end to a special recruitment season!
