Synergistic Self Massage Therapy is a Tucson based, medical massage clinic. At Synergistic Self Massage Therapy, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based medical massage therapy. As trusted health advocates, we approach each patient, building on their unique needs and long-term well-being by creating a pro-active health model for our patients.

We traditionally have only accepted cash for services, recently in 2024, we have partnered with the Veterans Association (VA) to serve as a community based organization the VA can referrer vets to for non-medicated treatments for pain and work related stress reduction.

We are rapidly growing and are in need of qualified medical massage therapists with demonstrated knowledge of applied medical modalities to join our team.

Role Description
On-site role for a Medical Massage Therapist at Synergistic Self massage Therapy in Tucson, AZ, Seasoned therapists preferred. The role involves providing massage therapy services and maintaining medical SOAP notes on each patient.

Qualifications
Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist in Arizona
Ability to pass a verbal medical terminology assessment prior to hire.

Ability to demonstrate applied techniques on a provider in a demo session prior to hire.
Massage insurance for liability
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in the field

Therapist pay scale
Massage contractors are hired under a probationary period of 180 days.

Pay Structure for 1099-Therapist Contactors
Flat rate - per session worked
Pay structure
Months 1-3
$30 per session worked
Months 4-6
$32.50 per session worked
Months 7+
$35 per session worked

*Graduated pay structure is available for any combination of hours worked. Time spent with the company is the marker for rate increase per session.

Schedule Options
Hours of Operation are Monday to Friday from beginning the first appointment at 8am through 5:30pm when we start the last session of the day, ending at 6pm.
Therapists are welcome to work a combination of any hours within the defined operating hours.
Pay is issued weekly for that week's sessions on the week following the completed sessions and weekly thereafter.

Supplies
Therapists are responsible to supply their own lotion.
Massage equipment is on-site and provided.
