Caleb’s Mom: “Don’t throw things on the roof!”
Caleb: “It’s not going to get stuck.”
Caleb’s Mom: “That wasn’t a question, it was a rule. And if you don’t like the rules, do you know what you can do?”
Caleb: “Break them.”
😄
Not exactly the response his mom was expecting. A little glimpse into Caleb’s world. Where confidence is high, logic is creative, and the rules are… negotiable.
If you knew Caleb, you know this tracks. And if you didn’t, we're glad you're here to see exactly why Caleb was so special. 💚

💚Today, Caleb's family honored him on a very special day.
In celebration of what would have been Caleb’s 16th birthday, Caleb’s family partnered with Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse to host a birthday party for the children currently staying in their shelter. With nearly 50 kids being served, the party provided pizza, cupcakes, goodie bags and laughter.
This moment was made possible through the love and generosity of Caleb’s family, who wanted to give back in a personal and meaningful way.
Let’s continue to show up for our community, one act of kindness at a time. 💚
Happy birthday, Caleb!

Caleb and Marcus were in the same class, they competed against each other on the field and before long, they were teammates too. Two peas in a pod.
One tournament, Caleb chose to stay after his team had completed their games, to watch Marcus play. He could have gone home to play video games, but he had his priorities focused.
Marcus spent so much time at Caleb’s house that he even had his own toothbrush, and his own bed. They made sure they packed the "just in case bag" because one always ended up sleeping over the other's house. That’s how close they were.
At Caleb’s Assist, we honor moments like these. True friendships, teamwork, and the bonds formed through sports that last far beyond the field. Because youth sports aren’t just about the game, they’re about connection, character, and love that stays with us forever. 💚⚽🐞

💚 Caleb’s “Usual” 💚
One day, while grocery shopping at Fry’s with his mom, Caleb asked if he could get something from Starbucks. She was surprised as she had never bought him anything there before.
It turned out his sister had taken him the week before and introduced him to his new favorite drink. Mom had to text her just to find out the order. And just like that, it became his usual.
A small vanilla bean Frappuccino with whip. ☕ With drink sleeve because it was too cold for his hands.
Today, Caleb’s family honors his memory by giving Starbucks gift cards as a thank-you to those who go above and beyond in supporting his memory. Always with enough for the recipient, and a little extra to treat a stranger to a drink in Caleb’s honor.
A small gesture.
A simple kindness.
A reminder that love lives on in the little things. 💚

National Girls and Women in Sports Day
Today, we celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD), a nationwide observance recognizing the achievements of female athletes and the powerful role sports play in the lives of girls and women.
Sports teach girls so much more than how to compete. They build confidence, resilience, leadership, and self-belief. Skills that last far beyond the field, court, or track.
At Caleb’s Assist, we believe every girl deserves the chance to play, grow, and discover her strength through sports, regardless of financial barriers. When girls are supported in athletics, entire communities grow stronger.
Today, we celebrate:
• Girls who play with heart and determination
• Women who lead, coach, and inspire
• And the power of equal access to sports for all
Here’s to the girls chasing their dreams and the communities that help make those dreams possible. 💪

☕ National Hot Chocolate Day ☕
Hot chocolate is more than a warm drink, sometimes, it’s a way to show care.
One of our favorite memories of Caleb is the time he helped serve hot chocolate to airmen at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. On a cool day, with a simple cup in hand, he shared warmth, gratitude, and kindness with those who serve our country.
It wasn’t about the cocoa. It was about showing up. About service. About making someone’s day a little better.
That spirit lives on through Caleb’s Assist, in every act of kindness, every young athlete supported, and every moment we choose to care for others.
So today, if you’re enjoying a cup of hot chocolate, let it be a reminder of how small gestures can create meaningful connections. 💚
