Can I tell you a story? 80 years ago, on a cold winter’s night over Belgium, a B-24 out of England was hit by flak. The explosion killed most of the men on board.

The tailgunner was a kid out of Nebraska. Married at a young age, with a 2 year old daughter, receiving letters from his mother that would be marked with Missing, then Deceased.

Sgt. Roland L. Grubbs. KIA 24 Dec 1944. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice.

80 years later, that man’s grandson hired us to properly display his flag and memorabilia. Thank you to the Cech family for trusting us to help share Sgt. Grubbs’ story.

Hug your loved ones close, friends.

We are excited to unveil the *massive* project we’ve been working on… walnut live-edge slabs, steel, over 8 feet long and 4 feet wide… any guesses on what it is? Or how much the finished project will weigh?

My guess on the weight is 350 pounds…

Pictures coming soon!

My buddy Dean said my activity on socials seemed a little light lately… I’ve been working on this gorgeous beast!

Made from the repurposed soundboard from a Steinway & Sons piano, and framed in premium black walnut, this coffee table is my favorite thing I’ve ever built.

Working with the clients, we decided to leave the marks and patina on the soundboard, such as the curve from the treble bridge.

The soundboard is from 1922 Sitka spruce and it now has new life for the next 100 years. Finished with Rubio Monocoat USA “Pure” so the patina and grain shine through.
