Hereโ€™s something most parents donโ€™t know: the elbow is usually the symptom, not the cause. Throwing is a full-body movement, and when the shoulder, core, and hips arenโ€™t doing their job, the elbow ends up paying the price.

In her latest article, our Chief Clinical Director Alicia Allie, PT, DPT, CHT breaks down exactly why young baseball players are at higher risk, the shoulder-elbow connection most people miss, warning signs to watch for, and how to get ahead of injury before it sidelines your athlete.
