It was an honor to provide Patricia Fersch, Esq., with some insight about how stressors associated with COVID-19 have increased alcohol consumption throughout the country. Attorney Fersch is a contributing author for Forbes Magazine and writes about family law and leadership tips for female lawyers.
Kids Are Home, I’m Home, I Need A Drink—Alcohol Abuse During COVID-19 And Its Impact On Child Custody For now, the increase in alcohol use may be a result of the pandemic; or it could be indicative a more troubling pattern of alcohol abuse leading to real dangers for children and increased litigation in custody disputes.
Unfortunately, due to yesterday’s storm, our office is currently closed. We currently have no power and no phone. We understand that they are working diligently to restore services throughout the state of Connecticut, and we hope to be open at some point today. Thank you for your patience.
