Coach Sain will serve as:

⚾ Assistant Baseball Coach
🎓 TMS PE Teacher

A recent graduate of Williams Baptist University, Coach Sain will begin his first year in education and coaching this fall. Originally from Walnut Ridge, he was a two-sport athlete in both football and baseball and is passionate about building relationships with student-athletes while helping them grow both on and off the field.

Please join us in welcoming Coach Daniel Fitts to the Trumann School District!

Coach Fitts is a multi-sport coach completing his eighth year in education and coaching. He currently serves as the Senior High Defensive Coordinator and Head Baseball Coach at East Poinsett County.

On the football field, Coach Fitts has helped lead the Warriors to back-to-back Conference Championships and 2A State Runner-Up finishes in 2024 and 2025. On the baseball field, he has guided the program to a 2A-3 Conference Championship, district tournament runner-up finish, consecutive regional appearances, regional tournament runner-up, and the school’s first state tournament appearance since 2014 — along with its first state tournament win since 2009. He was also named the 2A-3 Coach of the Year in 2026.

Prior to EPC, Coach Fitts coached at Green Forest and Berryville, contributing to football, basketball, baseball, and softball programs. He earned degrees from Crowley’s Ridge College, Pittsburg State University, and the University of Central Arkansas. Coach Fitts believes successful programs are built through discipline, accountability, relationships, and hard work.

Coach Fitts and his wife, Micaela, have five sons: Kaylon, Karter, Kourtland, Klay, and Kamdyn. We are excited to welcome the Fitts family to Wildcat Nation as he joins our football and baseball programs and the TES administration team for the 2026-2027 school year!
