Getting connected is a big deal. But what comes after that is where a lot of tribal telecom teams find themselves figuring things out on the fly.

Billing. Provisioning. Workflows. Keeping a small team running a growing network. That's where we spend most of our time with providers, and it's what we'll be talking about at the National Tribal Telecommunications Association's Tribal Broadband National Summit this week in Valley Center.

We don't just hand you a platform. We work closely with your team to understand the industry inside and out, from basics to best practices. That's the difference between a software vendor and a real partner.

If you're attending, let's connect. https://commsoft.net/ntta-2026

Day One Highlights from the Esri Partner Conference!

Day One at the EPC was packed with insight, inspiration, and plenty of great conversations.

After checking in, Melissa Frenyea jumped right into the morning sessions starting with Plenary Part 1, where one message stood out clearly: strong partner ecosystems drive success. The idea that collaboration across a partner network creates greater impact set the tone for the day.

That theme carried right into Plenary Part 2, where Esri highlighted how partners working together can combine their strengths to solve real-world challenges. A compelling example from a city in Mississippi illustrated how collaborative solutions can transform communities and deliver meaningful results.

Of course, no technology conference would be complete without talking about AI, and Plenary Part 3 delivered exactly that. The discussion focused on how AI strategies are enhancing productivity, improving collaboration, and unlocking deeper scientific insights. The message was clear: when AI is combined with the capabilities of ArcGIS, the potential for innovation and smarter decision-making grows even stronger.

Beyond the sessions, one of Missy’s favorite parts of any conference is connecting with the people behind the technology. Day One included great conversations with members of the Esri team, including new partner manager Frank Martin, along with familiar faces Jason Hart and Jeff Johnson.

The day also carried special meaning as the conference coincided with International Women’s Day. Esri took time to recognize and celebrate the incredible women contributing to technology, innovation, and the broader GIS ecosystem. It was a powerful reminder of how important it is to build environments where everyone has a voice, an opportunity, and a path to succeed. (And yes that's Missy on the left in the fantastic group photo of the women attending the conference!)

All in all, Day One was a strong start, filled with inspiring messages about partnership, innovation, and collaboration. Missy also spent time working one-on-one with the Esri team to discuss how these ideas translate into CommSoft’s evolving GIS strategy and how we can continue delivering even greater value to the service providers we support.

And of course, conferences can’t be all work…complimentary coffee and cheesecake definitely helped power the conversations.

More insights from the conference coming soon! Have a great day Missy!
